Comments: This square is not difficult, only it requires a bit of attention in first four rounds.

Size : 15 1/2 cm = 6 inches

Material : Worsted Weight Yarn, colors A= Light Green B= Red, C= Yellow, Hook no.4 (US=G/6)

Stitches :ch, sl st, sc, hdc, dc

Difficulty: medium/difficult

Directions

Start with A, 8 ch , join in first ch.

1.16 sc in lp, join with sl st in starting st;

2. *hdc in sc, 2 ch, sk a sc*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join B with sl st in starting st;

3. *sc on hdc, 1 ch, sc on skipped sc in Rnd 1, passing behind 2-ch sp in 2nd Rnd*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join C with sl st in starting st;

4. *sc on sc dc in corresp 2-ch sp in 2nd Rnd, passing behind B yarn, 3 ch, dc in same sp*; Repeat * to * 8 times, join B with sl st in starting st;

5. *sc on sc, dc on next sc, (2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) = corner in next sp, (sc on next st)3 times, 4 sc in next sp, (sc in next st)4 times*; Repeat * to * 4 times, join A with sl st in starting st;

6. *(dc in next st) 4 times, corner in corner sp, (dc in next st)10 times*; Repeat * to * 4 times, join C with sl st in starting st;

7. dc in ea dc, corner in ea corner; join B with sl st in starting st;

8. .sc in ea dc, making 3 sc in corner sp. Cut thread, weave in ends.
